AS Photography was founded 9 years ago by Andrea Scafturis, whose passion for photography led her from Durban to the vibrant city of Cape Town.

Drawn to the city’s dynamic property market, Andrea quickly discovered her niche in real estate and interior photography. What began as a small portfolio built through friends soon evolved into a defining chapter of her career – securing a position as the in-house property photographer at Tyson Properties, where she spent five years refining her eye for composition, light, flow and styling.

After photographing thousands of properties and stepping inside these beautifully curated spaces, something shifted. Capturing interiors daily didn’t just sharpen her technical skill, it sparked a deep appreciation for design itself. She began to understand not only how to photograph a space, but how to elevate it before the camera even came out.

What started as styling adjustments during shoots naturally evolved into a full-scale interior decorating and furnishing service. Today, under the umbrella of AS Creative, Andrea offers a seamless experience – designing, furnishing, and capturing spaces with the same refined eye that built her photography career.

Working with real estate agencies, short-term rental companies, property developers, and interior brands, she brings a unique dual perspective: she understands both how a space should feel and how it should perform visually.
